Anonymous, the hacker army which came to the (unrequested) aid of wikileaks by executing [[DDos]] attacks against Mastercard, Visa, and Paypal, has played a significant and unheralded role in the pro-democracy revolutions across the middle east. They have done so while being prosecuted criminally in American courts. Uhhh... the revolution is starting.

Be careful who you support. Patriot Act will come and fuck you up. The actual subpoena told Twitter to not tell the users that their information was being requested as part of a criminal investigation.
